Starting at GUIR
Thursday, Aug 03, 2000

So I started volunteering time working on the QUIP project at GUIR, the UC Berkeley Group for User Interface Research.

I've been wanting to work with the group for a while, and I'm looking forward to finding out more about how the group works and whether I'll be able to do research on my own computational modelling projects. At any rate, it'll be a good experience until the semester starts and I can determine what my classload is like, and what I'd ideally like to be doing. That and it's giving me some hands-on experience with Java Servlets.
