Well, it's pretty much final: After getting out of the hardware business, ReplayTV couldn't find anyone to license their player, and now they're being bought out for a song.
Meanwhile, TiVo, which managed to lose $89 million on $1.4 million in revenues last quarter, is sitting pretty on top of alliances with the networks, as well as some rather dubious partners. If you like it, please share it.
