I have equal access to both a Mac (OS 9 for now, X sooooon) and a PC (Win2K at work and home), and I use both for most things, but I've always stuck with the Mac for email. While at first it was because I wanted to stick to one platform to ease email archiving and keeping up anti-spam rulesets, lately (and even more very lately) I love using the mac for email because I have so much less to worry about on the email virus front.
I'm sure I don't need to tell you all about the 'SirCam' virus that's been bouncing around this week, but I just love getting a couple dozen random files from people and freely opening them up in BBEdit to see what's inside, without worrying about falling victim to the same malady. Security through OS obscurity? If you like it, please share it.
